Terms of Service for Bankan

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bankan via bankan.app or my.bankan.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Bankan is a web-based Kanban board application. Bankan provides the software interface and collaboration routing, but requires the user to connect a valid Google Drive account, which acts as the storage environment for the user’s board data.

3. User Responsibilities & Google Drive Limits

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• Because Bankan saves data directly to your Google Drive, your usage is subject to your available Google Drive storage limits. Bankan is not responsible if you cannot create or update boards due to a full Google Drive quota.
• You agree not to use Bankan for any illegal activities or to store illegal content.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and “Lifetime” Access

• Billing: Bankan offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a quarterly or annual basis.
• Lifetime Plan: The “Lifetime Access” plan grants you access to the specified features for the lifespan of the Bankan product. If Bankan ceases operations, the service will end, but your data will remain safe in your Google Drive.
• Refunds: All payments are non-refundable unless required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.

5. Intellectual Property

• Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data, text, and files you create using Bankan.
• Our Software: We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Bankan software, code, branding, and interface. You may not copy, modify, or resell our software.

6. Limitation of Liability

Bankan is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We are not liable for any lost data, service interruptions, or damages arising from your use of the app. Because your data is stored on Google Drive, we are not responsible for data loss caused by Google service outages, accidental deletion on your end, or third-party account breaches.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Bankan at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in abusive behavior that degrades the experience for other users.
